
Antonio, along with the support from the Department of Emergency Medicine’s Center for Cardiac Arrest Survival and Operation Safety Net, will conduct lifesaving skills training at various locations, including Unity Recovery, under the 10th Street Bridge, and at Second Avenue Commons homeless shelter. The primary objective of his project is to train 100 individuals experiencing homelessness in Allegheny County with CPR skills, AED use, and Narcan use. Antonio’s goal is to improve survival outcomes among the unhoused population.
